Alpha, beta and gamma emissions behave differently in electric field and magnetic field, depending on charge, mass and speed.
In general, the charge of the particle will determine the direction of deflection, and the mass will affect how much deflection.
In an electric field, due to laws of electrostatic (like charges repel, unlike charges attract) the charged particles of alpha and beta will be deflected in opposite direction.
In a magnetic field, you can determine the direction of deflection using FLHR.
